Biography

Established in Madrid from 2015 to the present, Marta Viota complements her training in Drama by attending regular and intensive courses tought by Lorena García de las Bayonas, Camilla Isola, Dan Hubbard, Cristina Segovia, Joe Manjón and Luci Lenox among other professionals in the sector.

In 2014, after graduating in Drama and having obtained an Extraordinary Prize in her final thesis Michael Chekhov's technique, Marta Viota travels to London for six months where she continues her acting trainning at the Actors Center.

In London, she attends several screen acting workshops by the proffesionals Mel Churcher, Daniel Dresner and Vivienne Cozens and Teresa Grimsditch. Meanwhile, she attends Received Pronuntiation lessons.

From a young age, her first steps in the field of acting are developed in the classical theater, played in the main theaters of the Canary Islands. She works in professional productions such as "La casa de Bernarda Alba" in the character of Adela, "La trilogía del veraneo" in the role of Giacinta, "Don Juan Tenorio" in the role of Butarelli, "Cabaret Bretch" in the role of Mrs. Carrar.

Her scenic training is complemented by dance and acrobatics, practiced from a very young age. She also developes scenic fencing skills during her career and hose-riding as a hobby.

As she is trained as an actress, her career also develops in the screen, working on short-films in Spanish and English and working on advertising in both languages. Her recent participation in the short film "300 (Todo incluído)", by director Pablo Fajardo, which is currently in international distribution, has already received its first award as Best Short in the Canarias Cinema selection within the LPA International Film Festival.
